This hummus is so good!! It does not have tahini in it either which can be hard to find. Delicious with baby carrots and other fresh vegetables or with pita chips.
Ingredients:
1 - 15 oz can garbanzo beans (drained)
1 garlic clove, finely minced
2 tbs lemon juice
2 tbs dairy free sour cream
1 tbs olive oil
1/4 to 1/2 tsp cumin
salt & pepper
Directions:
Rinse and drain the garbanzo beans.
Place into a bowl add the garlic and mash well with a fork yet still retaining some texture.
If you like it very smooth then use a food processor instead of mashing by hand.
Mix in the sour cream, olive oil, and lemon juice.
Add cumin, salt & pepper to taste.

This sounds good!
ReplyDeleteI'm confused. You titled this "dairy free", but it contains sour cream. Hummus usually is dairy free -- I never put dairy in it.
ReplyDeleteThe dairy free sour cream really makes it creamy and adds a lot to the texture in my opinion!
