This sounds like such a weird combination but the flavor turns out great. There are quite a few variations of this recipe out there but this is the one I use most often.
Even my picky DH likes this one!
Ingredients:
6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 cups salsa
1 tbs honey
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1 tbs ketchup
1/2 tbs mustard
Directions:
Place chicken in the crock pot.
In a small bowl mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
Really good over rice or pasta.
Serve each breast with about 1/3 cup of sauce.

First of all this looks great. Second thanks for the comment on my blog! My baby girl Gabbi has a milk allergy so your page will come in handy. The doc wants me to take her to test her to make sure she's still allergic but honestly I am in no hurry for them to jab a needle in her arm. Thanks for the recipes!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds delicious and like something my super picky husband might actually eat. I think it will go on next week's menu.

I just found your blog and like the dairy free recipes.
ReplyDeleteI've visited and learned from a site called notmilkdotcom for a while. Thought it may be of interest to you, although you avoid dairy for a different reason than he does.
Have a nice day.
I avoid milk products 3 or 4 days a week, and am glad to have found your blog. This recipe sounds great and I look forward to trying it!
