Crazy Crock Pot Chicken

This sounds like such a weird combination but the flavor turns out great. There are quite a few variations of this recipe out there but this is the one I use most often.
Even my picky DH likes this one!

6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 cups salsa
1 tbs honey
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp chili powder
1 tbs ketchup
1/2 tbs mustard

Place chicken in the crock pot.
In a small bowl mix the remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken.
Cover and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
Really good over rice or pasta.
Serve each breast with about 1/3 cup of sauce.

  1. First of all this looks great. Second thanks for the comment on my blog! My baby girl Gabbi has a milk allergy so your page will come in handy. The doc wants me to take her to test her to make sure she's still allergic but honestly I am in no hurry for them to jab a needle in her arm. Thanks for the recipes!

  2. This sounds delicious and like something my super picky husband might actually eat. I think it will go on next week's menu.

  3. Sounds really good, I'm going to bookmark for the next time I make Chicken!

  4. This sounds so tasty!!

I'm always looking for an easy crockpot recipe and this sounds like something my husband would love.

    Thanks for sharing!

  5. I just found your blog and like the dairy free recipes.
I've visited and learned from a site called notmilkdotcom for a while. Thought it may be of interest to you, although you avoid dairy for a different reason than he does.
    Have a nice day.

  6. I avoid milk products 3 or 4 days a week, and am glad to have found your blog. This recipe sounds great and I look forward to trying it!
